Privacy policy
How we use the personal information you give us through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by Classic Journeys Travel Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the “controller” under UK data protection law. You can reach us at classicjourneys@europe.com.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, your message and, if you give them, your phone number and the tour and departure you are asking about. We use them only to reply to you and to arrange a booking if you go ahead. The enquiry reaches us by email, sent through our email provider Resend.
Newsletter sign-ups
If you sign up to hear about new tours we collect your title, surname and email address, and use them to send you news about our tours. Each email will tell you how to stop receiving them, or you can ask us at any time.
Cookies and analytics
With your permission we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people move between them. They set cookies and nothing is tracked until you accept the cookie banner. If you decline, neither is loaded. The site itself works the same either way.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. It checks your browser when you submit a form and does not ask you to solve a puzzle.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information. It is handled for us by the services above, together with Vercel, which hosts the site, and Sanity, which stores our tour content. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your request and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email classicjourneys@europe.com and we will reply promptly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
